Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S26 Ultra, featuring the company’s most advanced under-display camera technology yet and a new aerospace-grade titanium frame that the company claims is 30% stronger than the stainless steel used in previous models.
Display and Camera
The 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display achieves 3000 nits peak brightness and a 2600x1200 resolution. The under-display camera uses a new pixel arrangement that Samsung says eliminates the visibility issues that plagued earlier implementations.
The rear camera system has been upgraded to a 200MP main sensor with a new computational photography engine powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. The AI scene detection can now identify over 200 different scenarios and adjust settings accordingly.
Battery and Charging
The 5,500mAh battery supports 65W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. Samsung claims a full charge in 35 minutes with the included adapter.
S Pen Evolution
The S Pen now includes haptic feedback and pressure sensitivity across 8,192 levels. A new AI writing assistant can convert handwritten notes to formatted documents in real time.
