Chester River Friends Meeting: General Information & Directions

Come and worship with us any Sunday morning. We are located in Chestertown, Maryland, on the Mid-Atlantic coast of the United States. We are an unprogrammed Quaker meeting, part of the Southern Quarter of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Society of Friends.

Regular Meeting Times: Sundays - Meeting For Worship 11:00 a.m.
Children attend Meeting for Worship, followed by Religious Education at 11:10 a.m. (September through May). Child care provided during Meeting for Worship June-August.
Continuing Adult Education on a wide variety of religious and social concerns.
Wednesdays - Midweek Meeting for Worship 7:00 a.m.

Directions:
At the intersection of Maple Street (Md. Route 213), Cross Street and Philosopher's Terrace in Chestertown, turn east onto Philosopher's Terrace. (The fire station and Chestertown Visitors Center are landmarks for this corner.) The Meetinghouse, an A-frame building set far back on the lot, is approximately two-thirds of a block on the left. Limited parking is available on the Meetinghouse grounds. Parking is also available on the street and, on weekends only, in the parking lot of the building next door.
