​Bonnie Raitt (November 8, 1949) is a Quaker American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She is known for her unique steel guitar style which is based on classic American blues. She has won several Grammy's. She has been a long time champion of environmental conservation, justice, and organizations to support aging musicians. She is the daughter of Broadway star John Raitt.
